Closing thoughts

The Five-Seven is probably the most effective all-round pistol. It is accurate, does high damage and has great armour penetration. There isn't really anything negative about it. At $500 it is not particularly cheap, but it is a more consistent option for most than the Desert Eagle while still only being ~70% of its cost.

As the free starting pistol for the Terrorist team, it is the worst pistol in the game and performs considerably poorer than the Counter-Terrorist equivalents; because of this it could be argued that upgrading your pistol is more appealing on the Terrorist team, but most players will still opt to instead spend their money on utility grenades or armour.

The pistol does support an alternate burst mode, which will fire 3 bullets in quick succession, but this is often hard to control and most players see more consistent results without this.
